Belt Builder

Build your belt, layer by layer

Four choices make a conveyor belt: the duty, the strength, the covers and the fabric. Make them here and watch the belt build itself, then quote it or print its datasheet.

How to read it

What each layer does

Covers
The rubber above and below. The top cover takes the material, the bottom cover rides the pulleys. The grade decides abrasion, heat, oil, fire or food duty.
Plies
Woven fabric layers that carry the pull. More plies and stronger fabric mean a higher kN/m rating.
Skim rubber
Thin rubber between plies that bonds the carcass into one body and keeps plies from sawing each other.
