Rubber sheet thickness and weight chart

By the Boston Rubbers engineering team · Updated 15 October 2026

General purpose rubber sheet weighs about 1.37 kg per square metre for every millimetre of thickness. The chart gives the figures for the standard thicknesses.

The formula

Weight (kg) = width (m) × length (m) × thickness (mm) × 1.37. Example: a 1.2 m × 10 m roll in 6 mm sheet weighs 1.2 × 10 × 6 × 1.37 ≈ 99 kg.
