2 ply conveyor belt

144 specifications · EP and EE fabric · datasheet for each

A 2 ply conveyor belt has 2 layers of woven fabric in its carcass, bonded with skim rubber between the top and bottom covers. The rating is plies × the strength of each ply, so 2 plies build 200, 250 and 315 kN/m belts.

Fewer plies make a lighter, more flexible belt that bends round smaller pulleys and troughs deeply: 2 ply belts suit light conveyors, packing lines and small pulleys.
