EP 400 conveyor belt: 400 kN/m

256 specifications · EP and EE fabric · datasheet for each

A 400 kN/m conveyor belt breaks at 400 newtons for every millimetre of its width, so a 1000 mm wide EP 400 belt holds about 400 kN. With the usual safety factor of 8 to 10, it suits belt tensions up to roughly 40 to 50 N/mm, which covers general industrial duty: crushers and quarries, cement and fertiliser plants, sand and aggregate, coal yards and most plant conveyors.

We build it in 3 and 4 plies in EP (polyester-nylon) and EE (polyester-polyester) fabric, with 9 cover grades: general purpose, high abrasion, super abrasion, oil resistant, food grade, heat resistant t1, heat resistant t2, super heat resistant t3 and fire resistant antistatic. That gives 256 standard specifications, each with its own datasheet.
