EP 250 conveyor belt: 250 kN/m

96 specifications · EP and EE fabric · datasheet for each

A 250 kN/m conveyor belt breaks at 250 newtons for every millimetre of its width, so a 1000 mm wide EP 250 belt holds about 250 kN. With the usual safety factor of 8 to 10, it suits belt tensions up to roughly 25 to 31 N/mm, which covers light duty: short conveyors, packing and loading lines, agriculture, grain and light industry.

We build it in 2 and 3 plies in EP (polyester-nylon) and EE (polyester-polyester) fabric, with 8 cover grades: general purpose, high abrasion, oil resistant, food grade, heat resistant t1, heat resistant t2, super heat resistant t3 and fire resistant antistatic. That gives 96 standard specifications, each with its own datasheet.
