A 800 kN/m conveyor belt breaks at 800 newtons for every millimetre of its width, so a 1000 mm wide EP 800 belt holds about 800 kN. With the usual safety factor of 8 to 10, it suits belt tensions up to roughly 80 to 100 N/mm, which covers heavy duty: long and steep conveyors, mines, power plants, steel plants and main lines carrying high tonnage.
We build it in 4 and 5 plies in EP (polyester-nylon) and EE (polyester-polyester) fabric, with 8 cover grades: general purpose, high abrasion, super abrasion, heat resistant t1, heat resistant t2, super heat resistant t3, fire resistant antistatic and oil resistant. That gives 256 standard specifications, each with its own datasheet.
