EP 630 conveyor belt: 630 kN/m

256 specifications · EP and EE fabric · datasheet for each

A 630 kN/m conveyor belt breaks at 630 newtons for every millimetre of its width, so a 1000 mm wide EP 630 belt holds about 630 kN. With the usual safety factor of 8 to 10, it suits belt tensions up to roughly 63 to 79 N/mm, which covers general industrial duty: crushers and quarries, cement and fertiliser plants, sand and aggregate, coal yards and most plant conveyors.

We build it in 3 and 4 plies in EP (polyester-nylon) and EE (polyester-polyester) fabric, with 9 cover grades: general purpose, high abrasion, super abrasion, oil resistant, food grade, heat resistant t1, heat resistant t2, super heat resistant t3 and fire resistant antistatic. That gives 256 standard specifications, each with its own datasheet.
